Why do people feel the need to remind servers repeatedly what they were drinking….I took your fucking drink order!!!!!!!!!

because alot of piss-poor servers will forget, i got asked 4 or 5 times what i was drinking by my server the other night

I always remind my servers that I’m drinking the SWEET ice tea, because if I don’t they *always* get me refill of the unsweetened, and I can’t stand the taste. And fuck spending 20 minutes pouring and mixing in sugar that won’t melt.

Also because sometimes stereotypes seem to be stronger in some people than others.

My gf drinks regular coke, but I find it too sweet, so I order diet coke. I cannot count the number of times I’ve had to ask the server to bring me a diet coke after getting a mouthful of refill that turned out to be regular coke.

I guess if you’re a guy, you’re supposed to drink regular coke or something.
