One of my favorite things to do while I am serving tables is to play a little game I like to call, “Free Apps”. Whenever one of my tables orders an appetizer that I like, I make it a point to try and take it away from them so that I can have it. The best technique that I have found is to wait till there is about half of the app left, and then come up to the table, grab the plate, and say “you guys all done with your appetizer?” By already having the plate in your hand when you ask, psychologically their food is already gone, and this puts them in an awkward situation. It is much easier to just say, “ummm, yeah I guess we are done,” then to be like, “um actually we were still working on that.” Nobody likes an awkward confrontation. If the latter happens, all you have to do is smile and say, “oh sorry, thought you guys were done!” It is very gratifying (and delicious) to walk away victorious with your new appetizer, leaving your table wondering why they just gave it away. Note: only attempt this with appetizers that are easily shared, like chicken wings or cheese sticks. Also, make sure your target table seems like hygienic, clean people. You have to choose your mark carefully!

That’s nasty, and you’re a douchebag.
I like how you flagrantly post about ripping people off on a rant site about servers for the most part getting ripped off. GJ on missing the point asshat.
