I’m sure she was wanting you to list the main ingredients, y’know, like the vegetables, garnishes, pasta or whatnot… it wasn’t JUST chicken was it? Also, a lot of dishes have pork though another meat is the focus. Filet mignon. Chicken parmesan. Bacon bits can sneak into anything from nachos to alfredo sauce. Better to be overcautious than to accidentally order something one can’t eat! I just don’t think this customer did anything wrong. Sounds like you were just not on the same wavelength as each other is all.
i found out (quite late) that most chicken sausages (in walmart etc) are a mix of beef, pork and chicken.
imagine my chargin when i found out. (it has to do with religious beliefs.)
hopefully now you appreciate why the customer was being extra cautious
@ KittyMack. LOL! While I agree with your sentiment neither a filet minion nor a chicken parmesan has any other meat in it other than beef and chicken respectively.
Might I suggest that you may have been thinking of a bacon wrapped fillet minion medallion which as the name implies also has bacon and a chicken cordon bleu which is chicken stuffed with cheese and ham?
