Has anyone ever had a table of desperate 20-something women on girls night out…I have. All night they drink fruity concoctions from the bar, “this is too strong, this isn’t strong enough”…blah blah blah, they talk crap about all the men who have screwed them over and then at the end of the meal ask you…”Can you take our picture???” You being the ever-pleasing server say, “Of course ladies!!” All of a sudden your hands are full of 15 cameras, they all need a picture of course. Seriously, I’m not a photographer, I’m at work, it’s called email ladies…use it!

In Vegas it’s almost every table and yes they all have multiple digital cameras. I’m always like “um…. you know this is a digital picture right?” But they all insist on having their own picture, on their own camera. Sometimes when they are obnoxious I tell them I will send someone else over to take it and then send over the hostess – she’s just standing there anyways.
=( This makes me think twice now. Is that annoying? But you are a server (I was one back in the days while in school), and you want a bigger tip, right? then take the photo and smile your tip will have a higher chance to be bigger!
Miama Foodies – That’s wishful thinking. I’ve never gotten a significantly big tip from a table who insisted that I take photos.
If I’m not busy, I’ll take the photos. If I am busy, I’ll take one or two but let them know up front that I only have time for one or two so they aren’t upset or disappointed.
